Dollhouse
The infamous dollhouse project
This is the epic of Danielle's dollhouse.
I started the house on October 19, 2000. It was finished on December 22, just in time for delivery the next day, one day before Christmas eve! Drama!
The house is 50 inches tall, 28 inches wide, and 16 inches deep. She wanted a house for her Barbie dolls. This is called "Playscale". "Playscale" is a euphemism for "Expensive" !
There are 1,659 shingles, each individually glued and placed by hand.
There is 1 room on the first floor, plus entry way, 2 rooms on the second and third floors, and a room in the peak.
All the windows as well as the door are fully functional.
